I've noticed that the uucp throughput via tb+ modems isn't quite as
high as I would like.  I was under the impression that the effective
baudrate using tb+ modems was in neighbourhood of 19.2kbps.   According
to past uucp stats, the effective throughput via tb+ modems was more than
30% less than the throughput of uucp over 19.2k tcp/ip serial links.  I
was hoping for better -- is my expectation too high?
