Most of the replies I received indicated that the problem is likely to be in the power supply circuit and not with the magnetron. I tested the components and found the HV capacitor to be shorted. It's costing me $23 to replace, but that's better than the $70 or so if I had brought the microwave to a repair shop. Thanks again. Dzung Hoang
