On the off chance that you're referring to the old highway (" ... get your
kicks on Route 66 ...") and not something more modern that I don't know about,
there is at least part of Route 66 in New Mexico. I *think* that part of what 
is now Interstate 25 runs along the old route, and there is a State Highway 
66 which continues it west into Arizona.

I may be a bit confused about which highway number it is now, but the original 
route is still in use. I don't know the full path in other states.
