Clamen It used to be the case that the TIME you got in Canada was essentially the same as the one you get in the US. In the past year, however, I have noticed a significant change. I am not positive (because I've never bought a TIME outside of North America), but it looks like the Canadian TIME is the World edition rather than the US one. As an example, I remember just before the Seoul Games, my parents' TIME (in Canada) had an insert about various athletes, which was actually an excerpt from Sports Illustrated (another TIME/LIFE publication)! My TIME (in Pittsburgh) didn't have it at all. I have often noticed, when I go home to visit, that the covers of the two editions differ as well. Often the US edition will some "second-tier" American personality on the cover, while the "Canadian" edition has some world leader. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Stewart M.
