I have just returned from the Dentists, after just experiencing the 
wonders of anesthesia.  

It has still taken over me, and I am not really up to a UU meeting 
tonight, much as I'd like to meet the guest speakers and hear about
C news.

So this is to inform you that I will not be there, and therefore no one
needs to watch out for me tonight at the handicapped entrance.  

Thanks to who ever might have, and I hope you get this note with enough
lead time.
