Because Mush advertises itself to be backwards compatible with Mail as much as possible. And Mail uses the Status: header. Thus, mush will continue to do so. :-| One of the [perhaps poor] selling points of Mush is that it can look just like Mail if configured that way. Too many times people tell me that they'd like to install mush at their site, but everyone uses Mail and they don't want to hinder their productivity by introducing something new. Mush comes with a Mailrc file that will make mush look enough like Mail that most [naive] users can't tell the difference. However, it can also be configured to look like vi or emacs in the "curses mode" or like csh in the "tty mode". The suntools mode doesn't look like sun's mailtool because it was written before mailtool was (sunOS 2.0). dan ----- My postings reflect my opinion only -- I represent no company's opinions.
