Recently a number of messages from mailing lists have exceeded 15 hops before reaching their destination and Sun systems at two of our leaf sites have returned them to sender. At least Sun provide a configuration option to change MAXHOP; add # Set max. no. of hops to something more realistic than 15 (SUN sendmail only) Oh30 (or whatever value you prefer) to base.m4 (UK-1.X - who has time to install 2.1?
