 Does anyone know anything about the new IDE format  hard drives.  These
 drives are being offered by Western Disgital at suspiciously low prices and
 are said to have the controller built onto the disk, and 12 ms access times.

 Any info on these drives (especially the 40 MB  for $400) drive would be 
 appreciated
