This weekend the IP-link between Hawaii and Australia (Melbourne Uni) finally came up. A couple of minutes ago I telnetted to my old host back home (re.sics.se) and read my news. Sloooow, but nevertheless working. According to my MacII the distance is around 15,600 km. But that is via Asia. Via America I guess it around 22,000 km. /hans P.S.
