There are two bugs. In "xmakefile", change near the bottom * this is probably non-portable so it is ifdef'ed to: * this is probably non-portable so it is ifdef-ed ^^^^^^^^ Cpp is used to generate the makefile, and the unbalanced quote causes problems. Similar problems at the top of "prefix.sh". I changed: WARNING: DON'T CHANGE THE ORDER OR CONTENTS OF THE FOLLOWING LINES to: WARNING: DO NOT CHANGE THE ORDER OR CONTENTS OF THE FOLLOWING LINES ^^^^^^ I've got a "m-i80386.h" and a "s-xenix386.h" if anybody wants to mess around with this. However, IMHO I haven't quite been convinced to give up rn yet. -- Chip Rosenthal / chip@vector.Dallas.TX.US / Dallas Semiconductor / 214-450-5337 "I wish you'd put that starvation box down and go to bed" - Albert Collins' Mom
