As a software developer, I take date and time stamps very seriously; not only are they a primary indication of the program version, they are also vital to the proper operation of MAKE. I cannot accept any COPY routine which destroys date and time stamps. This is the main reason I'm still using Matt Dillon's shell. (The other reasons are its sorted directory list and its wild card handling.) Please, Commodore people, give this one some thought.
