I have 2 (stupid?) questions about programming the Amiga:

(1) How do you get XONN/XOFF characters through the serial port without the
Amiga eating them (at least this happens when reading from a serial device).
None of the flags, or permutations of them, seem to work.

(2) Does anyone have an example of a program that asks how many bytes are
available in the input queue?

When Amiga manuals are not in print (other than the ROM Kernel manual)
it makes it awfully difficult to develop...
