I'm sure you'll get plenty of other replies like mine, but I can't resist refuting your statement. Commodore DID indeed have an upgrade deal for A1000 owners wanting to upgrade to the A2000! It allowed a trade-in on the A1000 at a value of $1000 towards the purchase of an A2000. In my opinion it was a generous deal. (I'd love to get $1000 for my A1000 today!). Commodore also extended the deadline on the deal to allow more people to take advantage of it. It was one of the best gestures I've seen Commodore make. Thank you C=!
