It closed down $3.75 to $14 in heavy trading. West Chester, Pa-based Commodore said it expected earnings for its fourth quarter ending Friday to range "from a modest profit to a modest loss," depending on actual sales. Sales also are expected to be below the $215 million reported in the fourth quarter of 1988, the firm said.
