Keywords: system clock in warp drive Message-ID: <0549.AA0549@worsel> Date: 2 Jul 89 02:50:40 GMT Followup-To: comp.sys.amiga Lines: 24 In the past few days my Amiga's (B2000, A2620, A2090A, 1M Agnus, ASDG 2MI) system clock has been gaining lots of time, between 2 and 5 minutes per hour. The battery backed clock is running perfectly, but the system's time of day is in overdrive. I've seen this problem mentioned before, but I don't recall the fix. Is it possibly an 8520 problem? If I swap 8520's, where can I expect the problem to move to? Oh, and it's not likely to be a virus since I'm running VirusX 3.20. FLASH! I swapped 8520's earlier today and the problem seems to be gone. I haven't seen any other problems yet, but I've got the feeling I'm tempting fate. Where's a cheap source of 8520's? -- -- Blaine Gardner @ worsel UUCP: uunet!iconsys!caeco!i-core!worsel!blaine "Nobody will ever need more than 64K." utah-cs!caeco!i-core!worsel!blaine "Nobody needs multitasking on a PC."
