   What patch?  My site never got any patch for MandelVroom.

The mutex fix was already incorporated in the posting that went to the
binaries and sources groups.  If you got mandelvroom from Usenet, you don't
need the patch.  If you got it from a fish disk, you need the patch.

No patch was posted to the sources/binaries groups (not from me anyway).
