As I can remember, only the end of every Quadword (4 Words!) was breaking down, so I got (vertical) stripes which were visible and stripes which were invisible. The length of each invisible part differed from (pixel-) line to line, as well as from one screen-redraw to the next. Finally last week the whole monitor went black. While using the monitor of a friend everything was allright, so it must be my monitor and not the computer. I think, that it must be a synchronization problem; am I right? A friend told me, that it may be the result of using a screen saver which switches the synchronization to external; is he right? Thanks in advance.
