Message-ID: <1989Jun30.234511.5864@utzoo.uucp> Organization: U of Toronto Zoology Date: Fri, 30 Jun 89 23:45:11 GMT Color missing: I have a few old but useful programs that run in dull black and white. My question is this: does a .com program have a loctation inside that can be patched to a new background / forground color? If it is, do I look for a certain sequence of bytes ? Is it possible at all? One of the programs resets the colors for DOS, others revert back to the former DOS colors after they run. I have a couple of well working color setting utilities, that is not a problem. Just like to patch the dull ones to put new life into them. ________________________________________________________________________ | Werner Thiel <> uunet!attcan!utzoo!wern wern@zoo.toronto.edu | ________________________________________________________________________
