It's a CH MACH I+. I ran a BASIC program to print STICK(0) and STICK(1) and the joystick functions as expected. The X and Y run between 5 and 220. I tried to run some games afterwards and it simply wouldn't function properly. I tried to center it with limited success. I have an IBM AT compatible system with a 80386 running at 25 Mhz. I had previously tried another joystick with the same results. I sent it back thinking that the joystick was defective. How can the joystick function properly in BASIC and not in games? Is there something I should know about joysticks and game adapters on the AT? I hope somebody can shed some light on the situation. *** Michel Maksoud.
