GISD, Melbourne, FL Lines: 13 Just out of curiosity, how is the serial number composed for MS-DOS formatted disks? After formatting a set of floppies the other day I couldn't discern any type of date/time pattern in the sequence of serial numbers (20 disks). Any ideas? -- |=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=| Kingsley Kerce | kkerce%x102c@trantor.harris-atd.com | Harris Corp.
