I am familiar with the classic PC/XT and PC/AT designs, but the PC/RT seems another breed entirely. I have been requested to investigate faster hard disks, disk cacheing techniques, and what it would take to add a WORM drive as a large minidisk. Can anybody offer suggestions as to where I can look for information about these things? Please reply to either tew@n.sp.cs.cmu.edu or tewst2@unix.cis.pittsburgh.edu Thank you, -Tom Warfel
