Scott) I was over a friend's house who has a Mac II, and he showed me a neat StartUpScreen. When it first appeared, its colors were "normal." When his INITs' icons, and cicns appeared, the StartUpScreen's colors dimmed--or the screen got brighter, which made the StartUpScreen's colors look faded. I asked him why this was so, and he doesn't know. Does anybody have an explanation? Just wondering, Ken -- _____________________________________________________________________________ Kenneth K.F.
