In particular any experience with Allegro Common Lisp? I find it hard to guess what performance gains I can reasonably expect from the published benchmarks. Maybe it would be better to wait for a logic board upgrade? Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. email to michal@entropy.ms.washington.edu Thanks in advance.
