Has anyone out there had any experience with an accelerator
for the macIIx (daystar, orion, siclone, etc)?  In particular
any experience with Allegro Common Lisp?  I find it hard to
guess what performance gains I can reasonably expect from the
published benchmarks.  

Maybe it would be better to wait for a logic board upgrade?
Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
