Last summer I purchase a Mac at U.D. (I am a graduate student) for the academic discount price. I use this machine at home but now I would like to purchase one to use in my office. What is Apple's policy regarding second purchases and discounts? (I would as the people that sell them here but they are closed for inventory.) I have a price on a SEx 40/1 of $3499 at a local store. If I am not eligible for the student discount, is $3499 a fair deal?
