It isn't anything of microsoft's doing... Apple broke their own OS
so that Excel was special cased and would continue to function...

all because one company can't seem to read/follow instructions.

Disgusting, isn't it?  I hope that eventually, enough people use
something other than Excel so that things like this stop happening.
