Lines: 26 Expires: Followup-To: Keywords: 1.2.2 still has a bug left over from the first release relating to UK/US date formats. Converting the date from long or abbr format to a short date works fine, the result is a correct UK format date. i.e.: Tuesday, June 27,1989 --> 27/6/89 However converting the short date back to a long assumes it was a US format date: 27/6/89 --> Saturday, October 14, 1989 To do the conversion right you have to swap the day/month in a script before converting. If it can get it right going into a short date can't it do it the other way? -- David Edmondson UUCP: davide@qmc-cs.uucp or ...seismo!mcvax!ukc!qmc-cs!davide ARPA: davide%cs.qmc@nsfnet-relay.ac.uk Post: Dept of Computer Science JANET: davide@uk.ac.qmc.cs Queen Mary College Applelink: UK0087 University of London Telex: 893750 QMCUOL Mile End Road Fax: +44 1 981 7517 London E1 4NS Voice: +44 1 975 5250 England
