We also know that the Plus and the SE cannot use VM because they do not have a PMMU. My question is: Are Plus and SE owners forever doomed to have no more than 4 Mbytes of memory? Or, alternatively, will the new OS allow them to use the new 4 Mbyte high density SIMMs, allowing them 14 Mbytes under 24 bit and 16 Mbytes under 32 bit addressing? It would be too bad if they are an evolutionary dead end and are totally limited to 4 Mbytes.
