Math. Soc. fonts Keywords: dvi2ps ams postscript tex Message-ID: <8291@batcomputer.tn.cornell.edu> Date: 30 Jun 89 15:45:51 GMT Distribution: comp Organization: Theory Center, Cornell U., Ithaca NY Lines: 15 I have found what seems like a bug in JB Wang's version (12/88) of dvi2ps; this is the version that has postscript scale any bitmapped fonts for which the requested scale is unavailable as a .pk (or .pxl) file. The program works fine for tex cm and am series fonts and for internal laser-writer fonts, but it fails on the American Mathematical Society fonts eufm, eufb, eusm, and eusb. When these fonts are supposed to be printed, nothing comes out on the page. In the postscript output, the reason is manifest: almost no font-building bitmap information is loaded for these fonts. Does anyone know why? We have all of our pk fonts in one place and all of our tfm's in one place, and other (non-scaling) versions of dvi2ps work with the AMS fonts.
