The requirements include: (1) Title and abstract across the whole page (2) Body of article in two columns (3) According to the "Instructions for Authors", I will be typing (with a typewriter!) on mat boards in two columns, which will then be photo-reduced. Upon closer inspection, the reduced size looks pretty similar to an un-reduced [twocolumn] option. (1), I can handle with a bit of judicious cut-and-paste. I can probably specify a narrow page (single column) and cut-and-paste to deal with (2) and (3). But if anyone out there has previously solved this problem, I'd appreciate the help.
