Set Message-ID: <396@dialogic.UUCP> Date: 23 Jun 89 18:22:57 GMT Reply-To: gerry@dialogic.UUCP (Gerry Lachac) Followup-To: comp.text.desktop Organization: Dialogic Corp., Parsippany, NJ Lines: 24 We are having a slight problem here that someone someplace may be able to help us with (at least I hope so). We are converting from Microsoft WORD 5.0 to Framemaker shortly, we're just waiting for the Suns to come. In the interim, we have converted from our trusty HP Series II to an Apple NTX. The problem: We are now using WORD with its postscript driver to print some old manuals. In our manuals, we use a lot of the IBM extended character set. The problem is that these characters don't exist in any of the printer's fonts. We realize this problem will not disappear when we go to Framemaker. What we feel is the solution (until Framemaker gets here and we can draw boxes graphicly) is to find a postscript font with the IBM extended character set. Does anybody know where we can get any such font? Thanks... -- uunet!dialogic!gerry | | Dialogic Corporation OR | | 129 Littleton Rd gerry@dialogic.UUCP | | Parsippany, NJ 07054 | | (201)334-8450
