Inews puts it on the end of articles, v6mail uses the first line of it to set up the From: or Sender: line in the header. So if I set up my news signature the way I want, my mail is sent out with lines reading From: Alan M Stanier * Copyright 1989 Alan M Stanier which isn't what I wanted. I've modified my .signature file to get acceptable results with both programs, but I don't like it. Can anyone think of a way I can have two signature files, and pick uo the right one depending on the particular program I am running?
