   Does anyone know of a "alarm" clock client available for X?  I would 
   find such a tool very useful.   Something which a user could set and 
   have it pop up a window with a user defined message.

I wrote an xremind program some time ago.  I reads the invoker's
reminder file and displays the message in a little window at the right
time.  If anyone wants it, I'd be glad to send it (or post it to
comp.sources.x).
