On all versions of X11R3 on the IBM RT PC, the speed of writing stipple
(the grayed writing usually used on buttons that are not currently valid
selections (used in xrn and xmh for instance) is incredibly slow (like
110-300 baud it seems).  

If you have found a fix to this problem, I'd appreciate it very much
if you could let me know what you did.
