I don't see any reason for not using the HP widget set -- other than that they will not be maintained (ie. automatically upgraded with future releases of X). This doesn't strike me as a significant problem unless the Toolkit Intrinsics undergo another major revision. For the most part, i find the HP widget set more useful and certainly better documented than the Athena widget set. This is not to say that certain widgets within the HP set are without bugs. But for the most part, i have found them to be very useful and will continue to use them. Joel Rives
