What exactly is an X-terminal?  Is it a minimally-functional LAN
host with a display manager running?  Is it something hooked to a
generic LAN host?  Who makes them and how much do they cost?  Are
they perhaps alternatives to a full-blown workstation?  Thanks in
advance for replies, which I can summarize.
