I am a new EMACS user and I have brought version 18.54 up on a DECstation 3100,
running DecWindows.  I see that there are various functions for accessing the 
mouse and creating pull-down menus, but they don't seem to work according to
XDOC.  

I suspect that the functions are not bound by default.  Anyway, if I am 
incorrect, can anyone help me.  And if I am correct can some X window user
send me a copy of their .emacs file?  Thank in advance.
