Help! I was previosly having problems with my news software as
distributed from SCO. It was giving the message:
---Segmentation violation---core dumped
when my spooldir became pretty large.

Since I now have to run expire -e2 to keep this from happening
I asked for the sources and got them.

Now, I need to know the correct compilation  options to issue
to avoid this in my new, compiled version. The patch level is
14, version 2.11B.

I am NOT an experienced C programmer, however, so please take
it easy. I have a localize.sh and a Makefile that look pretty
generic.

Any and all help appreciated, please email as I don't subscribe
to this group.
