Now I know what pf and sn are for. Well that leaves only one terminal! Its the one labeled on/off. Now this may seems trivial but it has me stumped. When I took the supply home, I made all the connections (ac,acc,gnd,s1+,s1-) and plugged it in...and nothing happened... I tried shorting the on/off connector to gnd, I tried hooking another +5v between gnd and on/off, still nothing. So I turn to anyone out there in sci.electronic land that would know how to use the on/off connector. For completeness: The on/off connector is exactly that, it is not a switch. I assume that it used to turn the supply on and off, but how? Should I connect house ac to it? Or maybe I should jumper it to some other connection on the supply? I would like to avoid tracing the connections if I can. Thanks for the previous help, and thank you in advance for any clues as to what this connector might be. -Rom rom@xor.sun.com
