Main interests in science:
1) Biology of waterstriders (Gerridae, Heteroptera), various
   aspects e.g. territoriality, cannibalism, life history strategies,
   parasitism, vibration signals, habitat selection etc.
2) Tropical forest ecology, only a minor part from data collected
   during two years stay in Uganda (Kibale Forest) is published so far.

As a governement officier I am interested e.g. on
- International relations in higher education and research, especially
  to developing world
- Evaluation of higher education and research
