I am a new user of this bboard, and am unsure how to download files that
are posted. This is obviously a rather basic question, but if anyone
could point me in the direction of some information, I'd be grateful.

Specifically:

1) How do I download files from comp.binaries.ibm.pc onto my account
   P.Stanton@GSB-WHY@stanford.edu?

2) What software do I need on my PC to make these files (either binary
   or source code) usable, and where can I get it?

3) I see mention of files on a machine called simtel20. How do I get
    at these (I have never used FTP etc)
