  I wanted to post this in comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d, but did not have the address
or a reasonable path to it. 'Beg pardon in advance.

  However, I am trying to locate information on how to receive an ERROR LEVEL
from a child process (from the original process, of course). It is stored
somewhere in the environment, but I do not know where.

  The main problem is pascal, namely Turbo v5.0, which does NOT provide any
good mechanisms for external management.
