Even a follow-up article to a similar complaint that I sent out a few weeks ago seems to have fallen into the same black hole. To repeat the essence of that, we get only about two thirds of what is posted (e.g. parts 1 and 2 of zoo2.0, parts 2 and 3 of zoo2.01 on its first post, etc. Frustrating, to say the least). I wonder if one or several of the "backbone" sites are getting so overloaded that they periodically "throw up their hands in despair" and simply rm or "mail nul" everything in their transfer queues. > How can the problem be corrected? No idea; I'm a user, not a net guru. Any ideas, news gurus? Could us users help somehow, say by not posting so much (but communication is the reason for the net ...), or can we cut out some of the "noise" groups (but the "noise" groups are generally fun for at least a few of us, or they wouldn't exist), or .... I'm stuck there. Carry on, netlanders. Harold Corwin -- Harold G.
