Lines: 24 Dear RTI ingres guru, There are 2 things I find puzzling when using ABF (Application-By-forms) in Ingres. 1) Whenever I try to do an EXEC SQL OPEN CURSOR some_cursor; in esql/C I keep getting an "Access violation ...." error. Is it that Ingres can't handle cursors in Embedded SQL or what??. (this is sending me crazy!) By the way. I have only one cursor AND I have pre-declared the cursor. 2) OSL/SQL cannot seem to recognize the statement resume menu; despite the fact that the manual says that it should! The OSL preprocessor gives me SYNTAX ERRORS! Can you believe that?? -- ** Research is what I'm doing when I dont know what I'm doing! **
