I've become spoiled by McMax which permits 1,000 variables. Is it true that vanilla dBASE III+ only permits 100? Are there other restrictions I'll have to get used to? If I get the job, I may be able to influence the choice of software somewhat. Does PC Foxbase have the same restrictions? I know that Clipper has extensions; does it up the number of variables? Thanks in advance for any information. Steve Goldfield
