Message-ID: <599@cbnewsk.ATT.COM> Date: 7 Jul 89 19:03:05 GMT References: none Organization: AT&T Bell Laboratories Lines: 13 An associate is interested in connecting processes running under Unix V (specifically an AT&T 3B2) and a VAX running under VMS. Assume Ethernet and TCP/IP. What higher-level IPC (e.g. sockets, named pipes, or the equivalents, or similar types of mechanisms) are available? I know the 3B has a TLI library and a "sockets-like" mechanism, but is there something analogous on the VMS side? Thanks for any help; I'll summarize responses if there's interest. =Ned Horvath= attmail!ehorvath ech@pegasus.att.com
