That is true - but as I recall reading somewhere (Popular Communications magazine probably) there was a time when WLW was running 500kw...let's also not forget that in the mid-'70's, the FCC was contemplating allowing the 12 50kw clear-channelers to go to 750(!) kw...here in Atlanta, the 50,000 clear channel watts of WSB eminate from right in the middle of the parking lot at Northlake Festival Shopping Center.
