Lines: 11 All the PC Emacses can be configured to work like Gnu, in terms of having the same key bindings. mg has as its goal Gnu compatibility, so certain "little things", like the exact format of the mode line, and the exact wording of some messages, tends to be more similar. It's partly a question of what you like about Gnu. If you like the builtin command and filename completion and help, I suggest that you try Jove. If you like the fact that it's implemented on top of Lisp, you lose, but Freemacs gives much the same advantage. It isn't Lisp, but the implementation philosophy is similar. Freemacs is also very fast. Its main disadvantage is that you can't edit files bigger than 64K.
