The last time I checked, most of the micro sized emacses had one very serious failing: rebinding the incremental search key. In most micro sized emacs you can rebind the initial isearch command to some other key. The problem comes when you want to continue a search: almost every one of them has HARD-CODED ^S for repeating the same search. My pet peeve.
