I have a VME based system I would like to enhance by adding a color
frame buffer.  I would prefer one at 1280 x 1024 x 8 with a 24 bit
DAC, but would consider anything above 800 x 600 x 8.

Can anyone recommend one they are using and like? or manufacturers to
stay away from?

If there is any interest I will summarize all responses to the net.
