The exhibition, along with registation and the film show will be held at the Hynes Convention Center on Boylston St. The exhibition takes place Aug 1-3. As I understand it, the courses and papers are going to be held in nearby hotels. All of which brings up an interesting question: How is Boston going to handle a conference of this size?? Boston is a wonderful and very interesting city, but the last Siggraph that was held there suffered from lack of space and attendance has risen quite a bit since then. Parking is a problem on the best of days, without a conference, and the street layout is confusing to a non-resident (even residents some times, legend has it that they evloved from cow paths). And Boston drivers! Well, I'm sure they will think of something. I would still suggest reserving a room at a conference hotel or at least housing near public transporation. -thomas williams- ---- Thomas Williams ..!{ucbvax|sun}!pixar!thaw 'There is no memory with less satisfaction in it than the memory of some temptation we resisted' ----
